I recently had my first visit with Dr. Benson, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we began, he was attentive, patient, and genuinely interested in addressing all of my questions. As a singer, I was particularly impressed with his understanding and expertise in areas that directly affect vocal health. It's clear he has a deep knowledge of the unique needs of singers, which made me feel both seen and supported. Dr. Benson is, without a doubt, one of the most positive and professional physicians I've ever encountered. His demeanor and thorough approach left me confident in his care. I'll absolutely be recommending him to my voice students and the singers I coach. I can't recommend Dr. Benson highly enough.

We have experienced many delays with various Drs...we understand emergency issues..but scheduled visits need to be 9lanned more efficiently..my husband is tired and ill and waiting for hours is difficult..thank you

Dr. Benson spent a long time with me. He didn't rush through the exams. He answered all my questions and explained everything in detail. Not sure my issues will go away, but I left there more hopeful than I had been when I got there. I have always liked Dr. Benson. I was very happy that I was finally able to get an appointment with him again.

I appreciate Dr. Benson's sensitivity to my needs and his willingness to refer me to another provider who recently joined the faculty and uses a different technique for the procedure I need. Dr. Benson didn't need to do that but he told me I'm a good candidate for this new technique which will require less recovery time and have less risk to my teeth. I was very impressed and satisfied with the care I have gotten from Dr. Benson. As far as the staff, they weren't very helpful and made me wait a very long time without letting me know what was going on.

I spent more time looking to find a rooftop parking spot in your parking garage than I would like. The parking problem is a concern and has caused me to seek medical facilities other than yours. It's worse than a cardiac stress test!!

Waiting time was terrible. When you call for an appointment and ask for a certain time and they tell you no ! It's very frustrating to then have to wait an hour after your scheduled appointment. I had to take my mom who is legally blind and I called to push her appointment up by a half hour and I was told that wasn't possible and then we have to sit and wait an hour! Very inconsiderate for the working person. Also you need to have Handicap bathrooms it's unbelievable to me that you have to walk so far to go to the restroom! Also in the one doctors office the female receptionist was rude.

Dr Benson seems like a very good doctor but I was frustrated with the office because during my first appointment i was told that if the steroids didn't work for my fluid in my ear then i would need to get a hearing test and most likely a drain tube put in my ear. After taking the steroids and told the office there was no change. I told them what Dr Benson told me and asked for appointments for a hearing test and then said that I understood that I would be scheduled for a tube. When i got to the appointment I waited and then was brought in to see Dr Benson but he didn't seem to have been told by his office staff that I had called and said there was no change and there steroids hadnt worked. He said that i shouldnt have more steroids but that I should have the ear drain. I said yes that was what I understood from last appointment and that I was told that I needed to have the hearing exam first. He informed me that the audiologist wasnt there that day so i needed to reschedule and get an appointment with the audiologist and the other dr who performs the ear drains. It was a waste of the day. I do think the office and the dr could have communicated better. It was frustrating.

My first visit with Dr Benson was excellent, right from the intake Nurse who prepared us for him. She was exceptional and thorough and put us at ease. Dr Bensons personality put me and my husband in a very comfortable place. He is not only compassionate and caring, he explains in detail and simplicity. My whole experience was wonderful and I will highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for his specialty.

Trying to get the first appointment was a monumental task. It took no less than 5 phone calls. The call screening process is terrible. However while sitting in the waiting area for my 1st appointment, the receptionist seemed to be able to make a personal call?!? Someone should address the appointment scheduling process.

Really not much to say, but I think Dr. Benson is one of the best doctors I have ever come across and I've been to many doctors. He's very clear on what he tells you. He puts me in whenever he can, whenever I ask him, in fact, he always finds a way. I rate him a 10 with no problem and if there were such other numbers higher, I would rate him higher. He's a very good doctor, bedside manners, he listens very clearly. I can't say enough about him. So that's the only comments I have. He's very, very, very good. He's a skilled doctor. So I thank the Lord for people like him, other doctors could learn a lot from him, if that was possible. Anyway, I appreciate him.

My experience with Brian was extremely positive. This is the first time I'd ever seen an EMT. And I had some very kind of open-ended questions. He was a really good listener. And he gave me a lot of solutions and things to try and kind of a path if what I'm experiencing gets worse. I'm very happy I went to the OCM, and I'm happy that I have established a relationship. So thanks a lot.

It took me a few days to get in touch with Dr. Benson's office in regards to me having an appointment to have my hearing checked. I do not know what type of service or outside services that you are using, but it is horrendous and it should be looked at and examined and changed.

My appointment was 2.30 p.m. And I get there before 2.30 p.m. And they took me at the last moment, like 4 p.m because my transportation was coming to pick me up. That's why he doesn't give me time for nothing. And that's why I'm very unhappy because it's like I miss, I didn't want, it's like I didn't see no doctor. No time to talk, no time for nothing. I'm sorry.

Dr. Benson is outstanding in what he does. He keeps me able to do all the things I want to do by keeping me breathing. He's wonderful. I would send anyone to him with complete confidence, and I would miss him dearly if he were no longer available. I hope he stays at Hackensack, and I look forward to visiting him anytime I am having difficulties. He's wonderful. Thank you.

Dr Benson is the reason I have my voice back! After seeing several other ENT's, Dr Benson discovered my paralyzed vocal cord and was able to treat it so that my voice came back and my cough subsided! I trust him immensely, and value his knowledge, professionalism, and caring nature!!

Dr. Benson is an amazing doctor. He's very thorough. He takes his time. Every time I have an appointment with him, he really does take his time with every question that I have, explains everything in a way that I understand. And I've already recommended him to multiple people. My one thing, it has nothing really to do with the doctor himself, is just that it was kind of hard to schedule an appointment within the time frame that I needed. But that's not, again, that's just a testament to how good of a doctor he is that everybody goes to him. So that's my only thing. Other than that, Dr. Benson is amazing and his care is amazing.

Dr. Benson is an excellent Dr, but I wait more than 1 hour to be seen. At one point the secretaries didn't know if I was waiting for someone who was seen by the doctor. So I have to tell them that I was waiting to be seen.

Dr. Benson was very thorough in explaining what my procedures should be in the future. Unfortunately, he couldn't help me at the present time, but he was able to recommend somebody that can help me in the future. And I thought he went out of his way and was exceptionally very good. Thank you.

Hello, the doctor Brian Benson is a very good doctor. I understand everything he was saying. I would like to continue to visit him and he being my doctor, my throat and ear doctor. I appreciate what he did and he continues to be a great doctor. I thank everyone should listen that way, to what you have to say, because he operated on me, my throat and ear and put my lungs back together. I just want to say that Dr. Benson is a wonderful provider and I like his approach to a more holistic care to the patient and not, and he's not concerned with just generating money off of insurance claims. He actually listened to what I was addressing and gave me a professional opinion that met my expectations. He was absolutely phenomenal and I would love him to know that. Thank you.

appointment was for 11:00, I came 10:40 to check in and pay, waitied until 11:50. No one said anything about delay, business as usial, so 11:50 I asked to cancel the appointment. I do respect people and expect the same. This kind of behavior is absolutelly unacceptable. P.S. I do remeber dr. Benson and love him very much, but the office behavior is a disaster.

Everything was great except we had to wait over two hours to see the doctor in the waiting room and waited over a month for an appointment. That was changed the day before to a day earlier.

I think that Dr. Benson is a very good doctor. I think that he does a wonderful job. The only complaint I have is that it's just that sometimes he gets very, very busy. And that's understandably because he's such a good doctor. And the wait time can be a little excruciating. Other than that, it's well worth the go though. Thank you.

I waited an hour and a half to see the provider and eventually just walked out. I was not kept informed, was not given an estimate of when I would be able to see the doctor and nobody told me anything. I have a job, I drove 45 minutes to get there, it was completely disrespectful and I won't come to that office again. You need to be better organized.
