Carlos Eduardo Silva Correia, MD


Eduardo Correia, M.D. is a fellowship trained neuro-oncologist who specializes in the care of patients with primary brain tumors. Dr. Correia also has expertise in diagnosing and treating neurologic complications of cancer, including immunotherapy-related adverse events. Procedures performed include lumbar punctures, intrathecal chemotherapy via lumbar puncture, Ommaya taps, as well as administration of therapeutic Botox®. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese and open to treating patients who speak Italian and French as well.
Dr. Correia is passionate about research and academia. He has presented several lectures, contributed to abstracts and publications, and is currently working on several research projects involving Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, mutated gliomas, perfusion imaging, and low grade gliomas. He is honored to have won the Weill-Cornell Medical College 2021 Faculty Teaching Award during his time working at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is a member of several professional societies, including the Society for Neuro-Oncology, American Academy of Neurology and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
