David P. Brown, DO


Dr. David Brown is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and sports medicine. He has a specialized interest and 34 years of clinical experience in electrodiagnostic medicine and musculoskeletal medicine. Dr. Brown diagnoses adults with peripheral neuropathies, focal neuropathies, radiculopathies, plexopathies, neuromuscular junction disorders, motor neuron disease, and phrenic nerve injuries.
He also provides expert diagnosis and treatment for musculoskeletal conditions, including neck and back problems and shoulder, elbow, hand, hip, and knee conditions, at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute in Edison, New Jersey.
Dr. Brown is intimately involved in the physical medicine and rehabilitation residency training program and has received numerous awards for teaching accomplishments over the past 30 years. He has co-authored chapters in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Board Review textbook and other articles. Dr. Brown is especially proud of the residents he has had the privilege to train over the years.
Dr. Brown earned his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
