Haralabos Zacharatos, DO

Haralabos Zacharatos, DO.,  is an experienced, fellowship-trained neurologist specializing in neurovascular and endovascular neurosurgery. With over 20 years of clinical experience, he is dedicated to improving outcomes for patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, particularly those affected by stroke, meningitis, and arteriovenous malformations (AVMs). As a board-certified neurologist at the Hackensack Meridian Neuroscience Institute at JFK University Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey, he plays a key role in advancing stroke treatment and patient care in the region.

Dr. Zacharatos has developed particular expertise in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, as well as transient ischemic attack (TIAs or mini- strokes), with a focus on both acute intervention and long-term recovery. His extensive training includes fellowships in endovascular surgical neuroradiology and vascular neurology at the University of Minnesota Medical School, where he honed his skills in the latest diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for stroke and cerebrovascular disorders.
