Harry D Harper, MD

Hematologist/oncologist Harry D. Harper, M.D., is skilled in treating all types of thoracic cancers, especially lung cancer—the most common type of thoracic cancer seen at John Theurer Cancer Center. His has experience treating small cell lung cancer, non-small cell lung cancers (such as epidermoid carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, and large cell carcinoma), and pleural mesothelioma. Dr. Harper employs chemotherapy before surgery, as a treatment for advanced cancer, and in combination with radiation therapy when appropriate. He is an expert in targeted therapies and personalized medicine for lung cancer.
