Joseph C. Landolfi, DO


Joseph C. Landolfi, D.O., is a board-certified and fellowship-trained neuro-oncologist, and serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Hackensack Meridian JFK University Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. In this role Dr. Landolfi ensures patients receive the highest standard of medical care, and that all health care regulations and safety standards are met.
Dr. Landolfi is also Division Chief, Neuro-oncology and Radiosurgery at the JFK Brain Tumor Treatment and Rehabilitation Center. He collaborates with specialists across neurosurgery, neuroradiology, radiation oncology, medical oncology and pathology to provide care to patients with benign and malignant tumors that arise in the brain and spinal cord. He has clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of central nervous system malignancies including primary gliomas, glioblastomas, brain metastasis, lymphoma, rare tumors, secondary or metastatic tumors, leptomeningeal disease, and pediatric tumors.
He graduated from Seton Hall University Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to attend the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) School of Osteopathic Medicine. His postgraduate training included Internal Medicine residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center and Neurology residency at UMDNJ-University Hospital, where was the Neurology Chief Resident. He was a research fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, New York in Neuro-oncology.
Dr. Landolfi is also a professor of Neurology at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and Volunteer Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He is also a member of several professional societies including The National Cancer Institute (NCI) Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) Glioblastoma Disease Group, American Academy of Neurology, Society for Neuro-oncology, and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
