As an educator, clinician and researcher, Dr. Parulekar has participated in clinical trials and contributed numerous peer-reviewed papers, book chapters, abstracts and poster presentations to medical literature. She has delivered invited lectures for a range of audiences, including the media and the medical and scientific community.
Dr. Parulekar was recently selected as one of Bergen Magazine’s from 2014-2023 Top Doctors. She is a fellow of the American Geriatrics Society and the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Medical Directors Association/The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. She is an editorial reviewer for the medical journal Health Science Reports and an abstract reviewer for the American Geriatrics Society.
