Dr. Rizk specializes in thoracic surgery, with expertise in the treatment of lung cancer, esophageal cancer, and mediastinal tumors. He is a leader in video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) as well as robotic lung and mediastinal surgery, and is trained to perform the most complex surgeries, such as robotic esophagectomy—a very complicated procedure best left to specially trained thoracic surgeons. He is also an expert in the care of patients with complex airways and those needing surgery for benign esophageal disorders.
