Nancy E Gadallah, DO


Nancy E. Gadallah, D.O. is a board-certified vascular neurologist at the Stroke & Neurovascular Center at the Hackensack Meridian Neuroscience Institute at JFK University Medical Center, and Assistant Professor of Neurology at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.
Dr. Gadallah's commitment to advancing the field of neurology is evident in her extensive research portfolio. She has presented her work at prestigious conferences, including the American Heart Association International Stroke Conference and the Stroke: Vascular & Interventional Neurology Annual Meeting. Her research interests include acute ischemic stroke treatment, the role of PFO in cryptogenic stroke, and the use of novel imaging techniques in stroke diagnosis. Dr. Gadallah also participated in the research and development of a treatment protocol that standardized medical care for patients with acute stroke using an innovative clot-dissolving drug, Tenecteplase.
In addition to her clinical and research activities, Dr. Gadallah is a dedicated educator. She serves as an attending lecturer for neurology residents and medical students at the Hackensack Meridian Neuroscience Institute at JFK University Medical Center Residency Program and the Trinitas Internal Medicine Residency Program. She also serves as Associate Program Director for the Adult Neurology Residency Program at JFK University Medical Center. Her passion for teaching has earned her the 2023 Volunteer Faculty Teaching Award from the Neurology Department at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and 2024 Teacher of the Year Award from the Hackensack Meridian Health Neurology Residency Program.
Dr. Gadallah is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Neurology, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American Heart Association, and Stroke: Vascular & Interventional Neurology.
