Stanley E. Waintraub, MD


Stanley E. Waintraub, M.D., brings over 30 years of experience dedicated to the field of women’s health. His research interests include novel therapies for breast cancer, particularly the role of new biological agents in combination with standard therapies. He also champions the concept of precision medicine for breast cancer—refining customized therapies, eliminating chemotherapy when possible, and using next-generation genetic sequencing and other molecular strategies to improve the treatment of breast cancer.
Dr. Waintraub is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, as well as a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Bergen County Medical Society. He was named Healthcare Professional of the Year by the ARC in 2004 and has been recognized as a Castle Connolly “Best Doctor” every year since 2001. Dr. Waintraub is the founder of the Post San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium at John Theurer Cancer Center, which attracts hundreds of participants every year.
