He is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
As part of the multidisciplinary team at the Brain and Spine Tumor Program at JFK University Medical Center, Dr. Bloomfield works alongside neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, medical neuro-oncologists, neuro-pathologists, and neuro-radiologists utilizing innovative new treatments to provide comprehensive patient and family-centered care.
The Spine Care Program at JFK University Medical Center treats all aspects of spinal cord injury and related complications. Here, Dr. Bloomfield joins a team of spine specialists collaborating with neurosurgeons, pain medicine physicians, physical medicine and rehabilitation specialists and radiologists to determine the most appropriate plan of care for patients and their families.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Bloomfield views patients as family, treating each with the same care and compassion he would want his own family to receive. The hallmark of that is to listen and communicate in as clear a manner as possible to help each patient understand not only their condition, but also the treatment options available to them.
