Andrew A Jennis, MD


Andrew A. Jennis, M.D., is a hematologist/oncologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive cancers, including those of the colon, rectum, anus, bile ducts, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, small intestine, and stomach. He collaborates with surgeon Donald McCain, M.D., PhD, Co-Chief of the Division of Gastrointestinal Oncology, and other surgeons and gastroenterologists to provide optimal care for patients with gastrointestinal cancers.
From 1995 to 2000, Dr. Jennis was Associate Chief of the Adult Blood and Marrow Stem Cell Transplantation Program at John Theurer Cancer Center. He has conducted numerous clinical studies evaluating the use of stem cell transplantation to treat several types of cancer.
His research has been published in many scientific journals, including Bone Marrow Transplantation, Cytotherapy, and the Journal of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Jennis is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group, and the Oncology Society of New Jersey.
