Barbara Gordon-Kundu, MD

Barbara S. Gordon-Kundu, M.D., MBA, BSN, is board-certified in vascular neurology. With a background in nursing, military medical care, and healthcare management, Dr. Gordon-Kundu delivers complete, patient-centered stroke care, including critical care, rehabilitation, and ongoing follow-up.
Dr. Gordon-Kundu earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan. She then served in the United States Navy as an active duty nurse and reservist, earning several recognitions and medals for exemplary service in Afghanistan and at Walter Reed Military Medical Center.
While serving in the United States Navy Reserves, Dr. Gordon-Kundu earned her MBA in Health Systems Management from Grand Canyon University. She then earned her medical degree from Oakland University’s William Beaumont School of Medicine. She completed her neurology residency at Yale University/Yale New Haven Health, where she also completed a Vascular Neurology fellowship.
