Robert S. Lebovics, MD


Robert S. Lebovics, M.D., FACS, is a board certified, nationally known otolaryngologist (ENT) who specializes in infectious and inflammatory disorders of the airway and throat. He has recently joined Hackensack Meridian Medical Group as a part of The Advanced Lung and Airway Center at JFK University Medical Center.
Prior to joining Hackensack Meridian Health, Dr. Lebovics has served in multiple leadership positions at Mount Sinai West Hospital such as Site Chairman for the Department of Otolaryngology, Co-Director for the Airway Center of New York, and Senior Attending Otolaryngologist. He has also served as the Chief of the Clinical Otolaryngology Service at the National Institutes of Health and held a faculty appointment at Georgetown University.
Dr. Lebovics is very involved in the constant advancement of rehabilitating the airway, and he utilizes up-to-date, evidence-based medicine to improve overall health. As an advocate for his patients, Dr. Lebovics ensures patient experience and outcomes are the priority. Dr. Lebovics customizes the care plan for each patient, using evidence-based research to offer the best treatment option. He works alongside Faiz Y. Bhora, M.D., FACS, who currently serves as Chief of Thoracic Surgery and Regional Chair of Surgery for the central region of our network.
